Hello! I'm Maria.
I am a fourth-year Bilingual Specialized Honours BSc Psychology student at Glendon College. As part of the lab, I am currently completing my honors thesis research under the supervision of Dr. Bellana as well as assisting with other the research tasks.
My main research interests include normal and abnormal memory in aging adults as well as neurocognitive science. In the future I plan to pursue a graduate program in clinical psychology and I aspire to one day have a memory clinic.
Outside of school I enjoy extreme sports and Latin American dancing such as salsa and bachata. I am also a very spiritual person and lead a group of volunteers for Elevation Church with the goal of supporting people in their faith journey.
